Norman Kalani Viela of Wailuku, Maui, passed away on September 30, 2023, at his home.
He was born on August 29, 1937 in Wailuku, Maui.
Norman is predeceased by his wife, Jerry Jean Viela. He is survived by his children, Norma (Kelvin) Viela-Verzosa, Jay (Lynn) Viela, Jon (Maile) Viela; 7 grandchildren, Jaymie Viela (Kimo Ballesteros), Chassie (Senituli) Vainikolo, Jrae Viela, Kiera Viela (Nevan Watanabe), Kalena Viela, Jrew Kupono Viela (predeceased), Jai Viela and 1 great grandchild, Jaxx Ballesteros.
Norman is survived by his brother, Allan (Laura) Viela and sister, Williet (George) Cordeiro. He is preceded by his siblings, Bobby (Lynette) Viela, Moki (Stevie) Viela.
Visitation will be held from 9am to 10:30am on October 20, 2023 at St. Anthony Church. Eulogy at 10:30 with mass to follow at 11am. The family requests no flowers.
