Bernice Rodriguez Vierra

Bernice Rodriguez Vierra, 79, of Wailuku, transitioned to heaven on October 20, 2023 at her residence. She was born on December 20, 1943 in Honolulu.

Bernice worked at the Salvation Army Thrift Shop in Kahului and Kihei as a manager.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Vierra (deceased), children, Yolanda Vierra (deceased), Bernadine Vierra, Renee Vierra-Calleon (Eric), Denise Vierra (Alvin Caliva); grandchildren, Latasha & Tiara Hasegawa, Dayton Calleon, Maija Hirata, Kaolyn Caliva; great-grandchildren, Drestyn Sims, La’akea & Keala Hasegawa; siblings, John, Abel (deceased), Lorraine (deceased), Mildred, Pauline, Carol, Jerry, Linda, and Eddie (deceased).

Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday 11/13/2023 at Faith Family Maui formerly called the Rose of Sharon Church; service will begin at 10:30 a.m., burial 1 p.m. at Maui Veterans Cemetery.
