Donna Mae Tavares

Donna Mae Tavares, 71, of Wailuku, passed away on November 19, 2023 in Honolulu. She was born on July 11, 1952 in Puunene, Maui.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Ballard Family Mortuary, Kahului. Visitation begins at 8:30 a.m., and service 9:30 a.m. Scattering of ashes will be done after the services at Maalaea Harbor breakwall.

Donna Mae worked in the Hospitality & Retail business.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest Tavares, Jr.; daughter, Tabetha Tavares; son, Ernest Tavares, III (Angela); God children, Hyland Elizares and Loreal Biho (Raymond); sisters, Paulette Yoshida (George), Honey Girl Gomez, Tiki Kaipo; and grandson, Xander.
