Doreen Lauwae Kekiwi

Doreen was predeceased by her mother, LaVerne Kekiwi and step brothers, Andrew Kauai and Ronnie Kauai (Terri). She is survived by her daughter, Tihani Kekiwi (Ka’eo) and their children, K.J. and Manaia-Jean Kekiwi-Gesch and daughter, Courtney Gomes. She is also survived by her father, Merton Kekiwi Sr. (Jan); brothers, Merton Kekiwi Jr. (Kim), Charles Kekiwi (Leena), Richard Kekiwi (Bambi); hanai brothers, Wendell Wong (Bonnie), Waylon Kauai; step sister, Cheryllee Fukumitsu (Alden); step brothers, Willy Kauai (Nalani), Kaniela Awai; step sisters, Lynn Awai Tavares (George), Keani Awai (Darren); and numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Doreen’s life will be held at Kula Community Center on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 12pm to 4pm.
