Harold Kane Purdy

Harold Kane Purdy, 56, of Kula, Maui, passed away on November 16, 2023 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on August 28, 1967 in Honolulu. He is a graduate of Maui High School (Class of 1985). He worked at Maui Police Department for 26 years and retired as a Detective/Sergeant. Then, he worked at the Kahului Airport as a Trainer for Allied Universal Security. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Purdy; children, Koapakaonalani (Abigail) Purdy, and Leimana Purdy (Siuati Felise); hanai children, Stephen Dutro, Maverick Dutro, Luke Sandi, Justin Kawamura, Lauren Almeida, and Dylan Almeida; brothers, Allen (Leina) Purdy, Myron Purdy (Stacy Pang), Byron (U’i) Purdy, and Todd (Trina) Purdy; hanai siblings, Tay (Rusty) Pundyke, Gwen (Jay) Conway, Laurie Purdy, Teri Nishida, Chariss (Ed) Almeida, Sherman (Candice) Baisa, Jason (Kelly) Uradomo, Jasen (Anela) Andrade, and the Sakamoto Ohana (Billy, Kristen, Sheron, Chantel, Jared, and Char). Harold is also survived by his nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews; and pet dogs, ‘Imimanu & Ka’ike.
