Jayme-Lynn Yoshiko Kashiwamura

Jayme-Lynn Yoshiko Kashiwamura, 32 of Waihee, passed away on Friday December 1, 2023, at the ICU of the Maui Memorial Medical Center, surrounded by her immediate family and close friends. Ballards Mortuary will be assisting with the arrangements. Jayme-Lynn was born on October 29, 1991, in Honolulu, Hawaii at the Kapiolani Children Medical Center to Lee and Lorena (Romero) Kashiwamura.

Jayme-Lynn is predeceased by her grandfathers- Renato Romero Sr and Ernesto Somera, Great-Grandparents- Rogers and Katsuye Kaneshina Teruo and Isano Kashiwamura, Claro and Martha Romero, Aunty Renalee Romero. She is survived by her Fiancé Kalei Kamahele, children Mikayla and Madison Kamahele, Father- Lee Kashiwamura, Mother-Lorena (Romero) Kashiwamura, Brothers- Ty and Lane Kashiwamura, Sister- Lea Kashiwamura (Ethan Egdamin). Grandparents- Ron and Aileen Kashiwamura, Grand-Aunt- Lynette Kaneshina, Grandmother-Laureana Somera, Uncles- Jay (Areum) Kashiwamura, Renato Romero Jr, Erick Somera, Cousins- Julie-Ann (Ian) Pagdilao, Nathaniel Somera, Jean Romero, Dana Romero, Elsi Kashiwamura, Nephew- Zaine-Goten Uddifa

Jayme was born in Oct of 1991. Growing up, Jayme attended Wailuku Hongwanji Pre-School, Wailuku Elementary till 1st grade, then transferred to Waihee Elementary, Iao Intermediate, then Baldwin High School and graduated in 2009. She played soccer, gymnastic and Pop Warner Cheerleading. She was a Varsity Cheerleader for 4 years under Coach JoAnn Yap. High School is where she met her lifetime partner, her high school sweetheart- Kalei Kamahele. After graduation she decided to stay on Maui for the fall semester and attend Maui Community College. In December 2009, she decided to move to Las Vegas along with Kalei, and attend CSN (College of Southern Nevada) specializing in Finance. She worked at Billabong Store at the Miracle Mile Outlet and the Linq. Kalei and Jayme lived in Las Vegas till 2016. In 2015, Jayme and Kalei welcomed their first born- Mikayla Kamahele. Both decided to move back home to Hawaii in 2016, to be closer to family. Jayme worked at the First Hawaiian Bank-Kahului Branch and then moved to the Maui County Federal Credit Union. She moved up from Teller, Consumer Loan Processor, Financial Service Representative, then Mortgage Loan Processor. In Feb 2023, she gave birth to her 2nd daughter- Madison Kamahele,

Jayme always had the biggest smile, if you ever visited her at the bank, she would give you that big smile.

She loved her job at the Maui County Federal Credit Union. She loved her family, friends, and co-workers. She loved helping her friends and family. During her down time, she focused on her family, taking care of all their needs. Of course, we, her village, was there to assist her when she needed it.
