Charlotte V. Kekiwi

Charlotte V. Kekiwi, 89, of Haliimaile, passed away on December 10, 2023, at Hale Makua in Kahului. She was born on November 18, 1934 in Makawao.

Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Ballard Family Mortuary, service will begin at 11 a.m., and burial will follow at the Maui Veterans Cemetery at 1 p.m.

Charlotte worked at Paradise Flower Farm.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Kekiwi, Sr.; son, Joe “Kepa” Kekiwi, Jr. (Kathy); daughter, Jody Kekiwi-Jones (Nathan); 5 grandchildren, Erika Kekiwi, Jaylin Kekiwi, Iokepa Kekiwi-Jones, Kanoelani Kekiwi-Jones, and Kaulana “Bula Kekiwi” Fernandez.

Charlotte is predeceased by her parents, Joseph & Flora Cooper; and siblings, Gary Cooper, Maybelle Medeiros, and Joe Cooper Jr.
