Fumie Tanoue, 89 of Wailuku passed away peacefully on January 11, 2024 at her residence. She was born on August 21, 1934. Fumie is survived by son Michael Tanoue and daughter Noreen Yamasaki; sisters Mieko Crowell, Rachel Fujinaka, and Joyce (Stanley) Shigemura; grandchildren Erika (Bryson) Kamisato, Nicole (Robbie) Snow, Kallen (Amanda) Yamasaki, Tyler (Miki) Yamasaki, and Lindsey Yamasaki; great granddaughter Riley Kamisato; and many nieces and nephews. Private services were held at Nakamura Mortuary. The family would like to express our sincere appreciation to Islands Hospice, Nakamura Mortuary, and Kahului Union Church.
