Baron Michael Pimentel
Born on September 29, 1957 Baron Michael Pimentel, 66, of Haiku passed away at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
Along with his parents, Baron grew up with his 3 siblings in Alabama camp Puunene. Attending Puunene Elementary School as a young student. He later went to Baldwin High as a teenager. Very athletic while at Baldwin, he participated in both track and field and football.
Enlisting in the army after graduating, he served in the military as a tank commander. Traveling to numerous countries while serving after 8 years, Baron decided to return home to be with his family.
Passionate about reading, he enjoyed military books and magazines. His hobbies included building and collecting military models of aircrafts and vehicles. A huge fan of football. His favorite teams were Notre Dame and the New England Patriots. In his spare time Baron loved watching various movies and television series. He also loved to eat.
Enjoying living a simple life, Baron was predeceased by his father Clifford Pimentel, 3 brothers Guy Pimentel, Clinton Pimentel and Glenn Pimentel. He is survived by his mother Clarita Pimentel, sister Karen (Anthony) Vierra, hanai brother Alvin Kala'au, nieces and nephews Craig (Gretchel) Vierra, Kaysha (Dayne) Pagan, Tytus Vierra and grand nephews Matthew Pagan, Matthias Pagan, Clinton Vierra and Arlo Vierra.
Visitation for immediate family starts at 9:00am and visitation for the public starts at 9:30am on Wednesday May 15, 2024 at Ballard's Family Mortuary. Service will start at 11:00am with lunch to follow. Burial will be held at the Maui Veteran's Cemetery at 1pm.
