Robert T. “Bobby” Kawachi born on March 24, 1950, passed away on March 25, 2024 at the age of 74.
He is pre-deceased by his parents, Kenneth & Janice Kawachi and his sisters, Sharon and June (Glenn) Otani. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Rene, sons Lee and Scott (Beth) and daughter Laurie (Sean) Marzoeki. Grandchildren Matthew, Mark, Riley, Ellaina. Siblings Dennis (Linda), Roy, and Kay.
He was a dedicated worker at Aloha Airlines for over 40 years until the company closed in 2008. Bobby enjoyed golfing, fishing and traveling to Las Vegas.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Bobby will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 at the Wailuku Hongwanji Social Hall at 12:00 noon. The family request no flowers.
