Rogers Itsuo Watanabe, 78, a native of Hawaii, passed away May 10, 2024, with his wife by his side. He is survived by wife Haruye; son Michael and his wife Michele; son Kenneth and his wife Jayne; sister Linda Watanabe; and two grandchildren, Kyle and Kaitlyn. He was preceded in death by his mother, Flora; dad Yotaro; and siblings Asa, Joyce and Ernest. He was a graduate of Baldwin High School.
A resident of Alhambra, Calif., Rogers cherished his wife; was proud of his sons; and enjoyed every minute with his grandkids.
When not thinking about fishing and while resting at home, he bled Dodger Blue, enjoyed preparing and eating barbecue, and watched everything Star Wars on a loop.
