Lorraine Masako Duarte
Lorraine Masako Duarte, 95, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away on August 19, 2024, at home, surrounded by family. She was born on May 12, 1929 on Oahu.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at St. Anthony Church in Wailuku, with visitation from 9-11am; mass at 11am; and burial to follow, 2pm at Maui Memorial Park in Wailuku.
Lorraine was predeceased by her loving husband, Charles Duarte. She is survived by her children, Laurie Oana, Carl (Leona) Duarte, Colin (Marie) Duarte, Calvin (Rachelle) Duarte, Lyle (Sharon) Likua; grandchildren, Jona (JD) Oana, Pomai (Mike) Pruett, Kai, Kalena and Kupono Duarte, Makana, Mandee (Romel Pagatpatan) Duarte, Tayler (Ramsey Pacubas) Duarte, Jourdan (Diogo) Lira; great grandchildren, Shea and Max Pruet, Kala’iku Pagatpatan, and Ryzen and Ashtyn Pacubas.
She was predeceased by her parents, Taro and Kame Ikehara; siblings, brothers, Albert Ikehara, Stanley Ikehara, Shinsu Ikehara, Henry Ikehara and Kenji Ikehara; and sisters, Florence Yamashiro, Marge Wahrmund and Grace Carlington.
