Kristin Sandi, 82, of Lahaina, Maui passed away on June 17, 2024. She was born May 18th,1942 in Los Angeles, California to Joseph Cunningham and Grayce (Sullivan) Cunningham. Raised in Long Beach, California, she graduated from Lakewood High School in 1960 and from California State University, Long Beach.
In 1968, Kristin moved to Lahaina, Maui where she met her loving husband of 48 years, Steven. They were married on May 22, 1976 and welcomed a daughter, Heather. Kristin was a wonderful mother and "Tutu" who adored her two grandchildren, Noah and Chloe.
Kristin was loved by all who knew her for her thoughtful gestures, witty sense of humor, eclectic style and kind heart. She was an avid reader who enjoyed participating in book clubs and was a frequent visitor to the beloved Lahaina Public Library. Kristin had a deep affection for animals and her loyal pets were always by her side.
Preceded in death by her parents, Kristin is survived by her husband, Steven Sandi; daughter, Heather Willard; sisters, Kathleen Gustine and Susan (Jon) Gilmore; and grandchildren, Noah and Chloe Willard. She will be dearly missed but lovingly honored and remembered by her family and friends whose lives were deeply touched by her warmth, generosity, and unwavering support.
A private celebration of Kristin's life will be held at a later date.
