Louise Sayoko Wandasan, of Kahului, Maui passed away on October 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family in Honolulu, Oahu. She was 81 years old.
Louise was born in Wailuku, Maui on November 5, 1942. She attended Puunene School and graduated in 1960 from H.P. Baldwin High School. She retired as a dietary aide from Maui Memorial Hospital.
Louise was predeceased by her parents Mamoru Watanabe and Noriko Tomomitsu Watanabe, and her brother Glenn Watanabe. She is survived by her husband, Henry Wandasan, sister in laws Victoria Watanabe and Sharon Toyama and 4 children, Tanya (Jason) Fernandez, Scott Richardson, Lei Parker and Linelle (George) Hanawahine. She is also survived by her grandchildren Mitchell and Alana Hu, Ashlyn-Taysia Fernandez, Ariyana, Azure-Lynne, Waipakawiwoole and Emma-Rose Parker, Kalei and Kyra Hanawahine and Shea Watanabe, nephews Brody (Leslie) Watanabe and Taylor (Melissa) Watanabe, grandnieces Leyla Brier and Lenora Blair Watanabe, grandnephew Mason Watanabe, and great grandpups Boots, Shadow and Bradshaw Hanawahine.
Services will be held at Kahului Jodo Mission on November 3, 2024. Visitation at 10:30am, service at 11:30am, with lunch to follow.
