Simeon Rodrigues Carbonel, 69 of Huelo, Maui, passed away on September 11, 2024 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on August 28, 1955 in Puunene.
Visitation will be held from 9-11am on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Ballard Family Mortuary; services start at 11am; burial will follow, 2pm at Valley Isle Memorial Park in Haiku.
Simeon was a retired crane operator at Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Company (HC&S). He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rachel Kalawaia-Carbonel. He is survived by his children, Charnel Kalawaia (Clinton), Christy Kalawaia; step-son, Craig Kalawaia; siblings, Stephanie Furcini, Patrick Carbonel, Damien Carbonel; grandchildren, Noah Kalawaia, Craig "Bubba" Kalawaia-Hilario (Jan-tel), Kalika Kalawaia, Kanale Klawaia, Kiani Kalawaia, Kelia Kalawaia; and numerous nieces & nephews.
