Evelyn Molina

Evelyn Molina, 92 of Waihee, Maui passed away on Saturday, November 16th, 2024. She was born on July 7th, 1932, to Mateo Flores & Mary Freitas of Puhala. She was predeceased by her husband, Marco Molina Jr on February 11, 2023. Her children, Duane (Corazon)Molina, Donna (Fred)Ventura, Jerome Molina, and Wendell Molina. Her eight grandchildren & fifteen great-grandchildren. Her sister, Irene (Rodger) Brostrom and brother, James (Geraldine) Flores. Evelyn worked in the pineapple cannery, and as a housekeeper. She raised her four children and when the last one started school she went to work at the Department of Education as a Cafeteria Worker. She retired in 1994 from her position as Baker at the Kihei Elementary School. Mom was a complete home maker, baking, cooking, and sewing was her passion. She loved her family, and most especially our dad whom she lovingly cared for up to his passing. They were married for 71 years. Mom was a devout Catholic, she loved the Lord and the Blessed Mother and her Church Family. One day Funeral Service will be held at St. Ann’s Church, Sat. December 14, 2024 with Private Family 8:30a.m.-9a.m. Public Visitation, 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Eulogy at 10:45 a.m. & Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial at 12:00 at Saint Ann’s Parish Cemetery in Waihee. Lunch will follow the burial in the St. Ann’s Hall. Many thanks to the Hospice Maui Team for the tender, loving care they gave Mom and us.
