Meta Shannon
Meta Harriett Keanookalanikamakanoenoe Teshima Shannon, 82, of Kahului, Maui passed away on December 09, 2024 at her residence under the care of Hospice Maui. She was born on April 24, 1942 to parents, Harriet and Frank Teshima Sr. in Wailuku, Maui.
Meta is survived by her two children, daughter Maile Shannon and son Kanoa (Jerrie) Shannon. Grandchildren, Marcus, Shannon, Kanoa, Hunter and Kaimana. Sister, Leni Rolfson and brother, Kurt Teshima. She is predeceased by her parents and brother, Karl Teshima.
Meta retired from Vacation International were she managed several timeshare properties throughout Hawaii. She also served on the Board of Directors for many of the properties she managed. She enjoyed her teams, clients, and visitors that came across her path. She was an avid gardener and spent most of her retired years tending to the plants in her yard.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 04, 2025 at the LDS Kahului Chapel. Viewing will begin at 8:30am, service at 10:00am, and will be laid to rest at Maui Memorial Park at 2:00pm.
