Dennis Koyama

Dennis was born June 9, 1946, in Lahaina, HI he is the youngest son of Sadao “Codac” Koyama and Dorris Shizue (Nakamoto) Koyama.

Dennis was drafted in the Army in 1968 , and served until honorably discharged in 1971.

Dennis helped run the family business Codac Chevron in Lahaina, where he worked until being sold in 2005. Dennis helped build the house that his family lived in since 1977 til the day it perished in the Lahaina Fires.

He is survived by his children, Cade Koyama (Greg Miller), Lori-Ann Koyama, and Cathy Koyama (Robert Husar), his 2 granddaughters Ziva Alboro Koyama and Calisi Husar, nieces, nephews, grandnephews, and grandnieces.

Memorial service will be held January 30, 2025 service starting at 5 pm at Nakamura Mortuary with a light dinner to follow. Scattering of ashes in Lahaina will be held at a later time.
