Dennis Russell
Dennis Lee Russell, 78, a devoted husband, father, and respected builder of luxury homes, passed away peacefully under Hospice Maui care on November 25, 2024 surrounded by Rhonda, his beloved wife of 60 years, and his children.
Dennis loved his family above all else. He was kind and looked for the good in everyone. A life-long builder of quality homes, Denny was well-known for his skill in designing and constructing elegant, custom-built residences.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Russel; four children: Cynde Renee, Justin, Darren, and Robyn Russell; and seven grandchildren: Larry, Randall, Alan, Simona, Rafael, Beatrix, and Arthur. He also leaves behind his brother, Kenny Russell, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories, three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. His son, Dr. Scott Russell, his parents, and three siblings predeceased him.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dennis was known for his warmth, generosity, and integrity. He touched the lives of those who knew him. Dennis will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved him. His legacy lives on through his family, his work, and the countless lives he impacted.
A scattering of ashes will be held at a later date followed by a “Corona Revival” in Makena.
