Jeffrey Duey
Jeffrey Scott Duey, age 72, devoted father, friend, and respected carpenter passed away peacefully at his home under hospice care on August 18th, 2024.
He is survived by his brother James Duey, his sister Janet Duey, his daughter Janell Duey, nephews Kilohana Miller, Devin Duey, Kyle Fujii-Miller, Dana Duey, Grant Milano, Noa Quinabo, niece Michelle Gatschet-Duey, and two great nephews Lee Anthony Duey and Lincoln Duey. Jeff is further survived by numerous cousins and friends in Maui and California.
Jeff was known for his kindness, love of family, and ability to see the good in everyone. A lifelong builder, he left his mark on Maui through the many quality homes he crafted. An avid surfer and golfer, Jeff could often be found catching waves at Ho’okipa or Thousand Peaks, or teeing off at Pukalani Country Club.
Please come and celebrate Jeff’s life with the Duey family on Saturday, February 8th, 2025, at Kanaha Beach Park. Friends and family are invited to gather with their boards and leis to honor Jeff’s connection to the ocean and his love of surfing. Food and beverages to immediately follow.
