Kathleen Fong
Kathleen Chiemi Fong, 61, of Kahului, Maui, passed away on December 28, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 22, 1963, in Wailuku, Maui to parents Richard and Elaine Kina.
Kathy will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, sister, aunty, and friend. Her unwavering kindness, generosity, and willingness to help made her truly special. She will be missed dearly.
Visitation will be held from 9:00am to 11:00am on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Ballard Family Mortuary Kahului; eulogy will begin at 11:00am; prayer service starts at 11:15am; burial will follow, 12:30 pm at Maui Memorial Park in Wailuku.
Kathy is survived by her husband Henry Fong; two daughters Nicole and Deandra Fong; siblings Karen (John) Yoshida and Nelson Kina; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Patrick Kina.
