Mariano passed away peacefully at home on 11/30/2024 in California where he resided for the last 20 plus years surrounded by his family. He was born on August 15, 1933 in Ilocos Norte, Phillipines and moved to Lahaina at a young age. He served in the United States Army. He worked for the Sheraton Hotel and Pioneer Mill Company where he later retired as a heavy equipment operator.
Mariano is survived by his children Michael 'Tubs" Curimao, Makanani (Fonte) Catugal, Eddie (Donna) Curimao, Matthew (Patty) Curimao, George (Cheryl) Laikupu, Clayton Cockett,
Kelly (Roosevelt) Humphrey, Fred (Arlene) Curimao, Greg (Virgie) Curimao, Stacey (Kamana) Ng, and Keith (Cielle) Curimao.
He is Predeceased by parents Simeon and Concordia Curimao and son Johnathan (Ginny) Curimao.
He has been blessed with 42 grandchildren and 46 great grand children.
Funeral service to be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Maria Lanakila Catholic Church, 712 Wainee St., Lahaina. Eulogy 9:15 am with Service to follow at 9:30 am.
