Marie Osaki

Marie Ann Osaki passed away peacefully on February 2, 2025, at Hale Makua in Kahului, Hawaii. Born on September 5, 1944, in Honolulu, she carried a warmth and kindness that touched the lives of many.

Marie was a devoted mother to James Osaki and Wesley Osaki (Yumiko). She was preceded in death by her husband Seiro Osaki and her son, Kenneth Osaki. She found immense joy in her grandchildren, Daylen Osaki and Darah Lei Fetterhoff, and her great-grandchildren, Suzume Fetterhoff and Lilikea Osaki.

She is also survived by her sisters, Elizabeth Miller (Donald) and Janet Le Blanc. She was preceded in death by her siblings Mildred Araujo, Seraphine Jacintho Jr., and Benjamin Jacintho. Marie was the daughter of the late Seraphine Jacintho and Mary Gomes.

Marie devoted twenty years of service to Hale Kau Kau at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Kihei. Her dedication and commitment to doing what she loved most, feeding Jesus’ children, made her a pillar in the success of the organization today.

A Mass service will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church, followed by a luncheon in her honor on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. The Rosary will begin at 9:15am followed by a Eulogy at 9:45am. Mass will begin at 10:00am

Marie’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
