Alan Tadao Maeda
Alan was the son of deceased parents, Wallace and Lillian Maeda. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Bonnie and sister Amy. Alan died of complications of pneumonia. Alan led two ukulele groups, and was an active member of the J-Sei Community, a multi generational organization promoting Japanese values while providing culturally sensitive care, assistance and activities for senior adults in the San Francisco Bay Area. Alan has worked for many years on the counseling staff of college and university campuses in California and Maui.
Alan's travels always included extensive photo studies of the wonder of nature. Nature was the grounding comfort that he considered “church”.
