Brenda Renner
Brenda Renner, age 75, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, in Honolulu, Hawaii. She departed gently, knowing she was deeply loved, even from afar. Born on December 23, 1949, in San Diego, California, Brenda lived a life full of grace, warmth, and quiet strength.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Tressa Jones, and her father, Robert Peterson. Brenda made her home on the island of Maui for the last 10 years, fulfilling her dream of living surrounded by beauty and peace.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Rhett Wilson (wife Kristina), Jessica Clark (husband John), and James Wilson; her grandchildren: Anja and Scarlett Wilson, and Nathan and Asher Clark; and her sister, Della Welch. She is also survived by many friends and extended family who will always remember her sweet, positive spirit and gentle strength.
Brenda’s legacy lives on through the kindness she gave, the love she shared, and the memories she leaves behind.
She will be cremated, and a private memorial in Maui with her children will be held in her honor. A gathering for a Celebration of Life with extended family and friends is planned for the one-year anniversary of her passing.
