Dwight B Nacua
Dwight Benedict Na-cua, 81, of Kahului, Maui passed away on May 9, 2025 in Wailuku. He was born on November 27, 1943 at the Pioneer Mill Co. Hospital in Lahaina. After serving in the United States Navy he joined the State of Hawaii’s Aircraft Fire Rescue Division at the Kahului Airport from whence he retired as a Fire Captain. Memorial service will be held on August 30, 2025 at Nakamura Mortuary in Wailuku. Visitation begins at 9:00am service to follow at 11:00am.
Dwight is survived by daughters, Kanoe (Kealakai) Kanakaole and Kelli (Cody Vares) Spe-ncer; granddaughters, Kekuewa Kanakaole and Sadie Spencer; sisters, Beryl (Manohar) Bartakke and Sylvia Mealani Malaqui; sister-in-law, Geraldine Nac-ua; 2 great- grandchildren; beloved nieces and nephews.
Dwight is predece-ased by his parents Benjamin and Patricia Nacua; brothers, Benjamin Nacua Jr. and Alvin Nacua.
