Elvie Pangilinan Puzon

Elvie Pangilinan Puzon, 84, of Lemon Grove, California and formerly of Maui, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. Elvie was born in Manila, Philippines. She was a loving and devoted mother to her three children: Cielo Batan (Mike) Molina from Hawaii, Vicki Batan (Howard) Hendrix from Alabama, and Lawrence (Ana) Batan from California. She is survived by her two sisters, Zenaida Chua and Teresita Fugaban, of Manila, Philippines; 9 grandchildren (Ian, Aimee (Kasey), Malia (Lazar), Whitney, Shelby, Skyler, Emilio, Mililani and Kai) and 2 great grandchildren (Drew and Sophia), nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Elvie was a successful entrepreneur of LV Tools in San Diego for more than 43 years. She devoted her time in helping the needy through participation in food distribution at various churches. She will be remembered for her compassion and generosity, her love of travel, and her strong faith. A celebration of life will be held at the Grace Covenant Church in Spring Valley, California on September 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM. A private scattering of her ashes will be held in San Diego Bay by family members.
