Wendell Wayne Jeremiah, 66, of Kula, Maui, went home with the Lord on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Born and raised in Nanakuli, O'ahu, Wendell lived a life rooted in hard work, family, and aloha.

He was a devoted husband to Debra (Pua) Jeremiah and a loving father to Francis (Ranelle) Kaawa, Lehua (Abraham) Park, Kunane Ganal, Kapena (Ashley) Bergau, and Keikilani Jeremiah. He was also a proud grandfather to Quiana Duarte, Kia'i (Macy) Park, Keali'imalu Kaawa, Huaka Park, Kūikawā Park-Jeremiah, Jonah Mukaihata, Hoʻoheno Park-Jeremiah, Duke Bergau, and Kenzie Bergau.

Loved by his parents, Herman Jeremiah Sr. and Thelma Kawaakoa, and three brothers and two sisters.

Wendell dedicated his life to providing for his family. He is a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator, Asphalt Paver, and a proud member of Hawaiʻiʻs Local 3. His strong work ethic and a deep commitment to those he loved defined the man he is.

While Wendellʻs heart belonged to his ʻohana, the ocean was his second home. Whether fishing, diving, or simply spending time by the water, the sea brought him peace and joy.

He will be remembered for his strength, humor, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the values he instilled in all who knew him.
