Pascuala Manuel
Trusting in the promise of eternal life, Pascuala Sebastian Manuel, age 95, of Kahului, Maui, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, at her residence under hospice care.
She was born on December 19, 1929 in Banna, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to Martin and Tomasa Manuel (deceased).
Pascuala was known for her love of teaching at an elementary school in the Philippines. After moving to Hawaii, her strong work ethic led her to a supervisory position in the housekeeping department at the Maui Lu Resort. She was admired by colleagues and friends alike for her dedication, kindness, and resilience.
She is survived by her brother, Fred Manuel (Violet Bolibol); two nieces, Marie Arensdorf and Mary Jean Bega (late husband Eric Bega); two nephews, Roger Manuel (Cindi Pojas Smith) and Ronald Manuel (Rochelle Manuel); six grandnieces and grandnephews; and five great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
To honor her life, funeral services will be held on October 31 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Private viewing will begin at 9:00 for family. Public viewing will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a eulogy at 11:30 a.m. and Mass at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Valley Isle Memorial Park in Haiku at 2:00 p.m.
