Jim Crowe
James “Jim” Knute Crowe died surrounded by his family on October 26, 2025 of Alzheimer’s Disease at the age of 93. He was born July 6, 1932 to Mary and Clement Crowe. Jim is survived by his wife of 49 years, Eleanor; his sons Mike (Joan), Mark (Karen), James (Amy) and his daughter Kalea (Daryl). His grandchildren are Maile and Grace Crowe, Jimmy and Alice Crowe, Malia and Alex Francoeur. Jim was one of ten children and is survived by his youngest brother, Mike (Kathy) Crowe.
His life’s work began as a Catholic priest, doing pastoral work and teaching high school where he met Eleanor. They arrived on Maui December 6, 1976 where Jim worked to serve the community through Teen Challenge and Youth Bank at MEO, and also originated Maui Print Kwik.
