Aldirico “Rico” F. Carba
Aldirico “Rico” F. Carba, 85 of Wailuku, Maui passed away on January 21, 2026 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on February 12, 1940 to Pablo and Escolastica Carba.
A memorial service will take place on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului from 8:00 am to 10:00 am; prayer service to follow. He will be laid to rest at the Makawao Veterans' Cemetery with burial at 1:00 pm.
Rico is survived by his wife, Sheila H. Carba; children, Beryl Imaiokalani (Jay) Miller, Aldirico “Rico” Kalanikuhikahi (Charade) Carba and Michael Andrew Carba; grandson, Peter (Pete) Kalani Carba; grand daughters, Ona Miller, Sophia Irene Kainulama Carba and Irelyn Brandy Lokeokalani Carba; great-grand daughter, Haedyn Carba; brothers, Peter (Pete) Carba and Andelino (Andy) Carba; sisters, Aldirica (Audrey) Peralta, Norma (Mina) Wayne, and Concepcion (Connie/Seng) Funari.
He is predeceased by parents, Pablo Timtim Carba and Escolastica Fabilliaran Carba; siblings, Mauricia Ramocaldo, Florentina “Flo” Kahahane, Josephine Carba, Alberto Bebeng “Beng” Carba and Winifredo Matteo (Matt) Carba.
