Noreen Leina’ala Caycayon
Noreen “Rene” Leinaala Caycayon, 72, passed away on March 15, 2026, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital in Lihue, Kauai. She was born on July 1, 1953, in Maui, Hawaii.
In 1971, Noreen became a proud graduate of Kamehameha Schools, Kapalama.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Nancy Canto, and her sister, Kathleen Ellis.
She is survived by her husband Patrick “Skip” Caycayon, daughters Cindra (Michael) Manera and Robyn (Brent) Obrero, son Christopher (Tiare) Caycayon, sisters Doreen “Pua” Canto, Primrose (Dennis) Tarpley, and Lavie Ann (Fred) Raymond, brother Ralph “Boy” (Sarah) Canto, and (10) grandchildren.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Borthwick's Kauai Mortuary in Koloa, Kauai. Visitation begins at 10:00 A.M., the service will begin at 11:15 A.M., and burial to follow at 1:00 P.M. at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe, Kauai.
