Edward Y. Chang Jr.
Edward Y. Chang, Jr. passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026, in Makena, Maui. He was born on February 29, 1932, to Edward Y. Chang, Sr. and Harriet Kulamanu Laumauna Chang in Wailuku, Maui.
Edward is survived by his five children: Keiki (Clem) Kawai'ae'a, Puena (Stan) Keolanui, Lani (Randy) Garcia, Edward III (Rebecca) Chang, and Momi (Dutch) Hunter; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 3 sisters: Helaine Chock, Norma Lei Noland, and Luella Crutcher.
A celebration of life will take place on July 18th at Keawala’i Congregational Church in Makena, Maui. Visitation will begin at 10:30 am, followed by the service at 11:00 am. A reception will follow at 12:30 pm at the Kukahiko Hale, located at 5034 Makena Rd. in Makena. Carpooling is recommended as parking is limited.
