George was a retired Glazier who love to golf. He is survived by his beloved wife, Helen (Takamiya), sons Jon Tamura (Naalei), Glen Tamura (Christine), Ben Tamura, a sister Janet Nakashima (George) of Pearl City, Oahu, sisters-in-law Lani Akamine (Roy deceased) and Sandi Akamine (Edward Shige deceased), 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
