Passed away on April 24, 2026, at home in Aiea. She was born in Numazu, Japan on Jan 25, 1928. Came to Maui in 1947 with husband Mitsugi (deceased) and became a proud citizen of the US. She had many different jobs: packer at the Maui Pineapple Cannery, seamstress at Otaheite Hawaii, co-owner of Palani Sportswear, and finally retired from Gray Line Tours as a tourist guide and limousine driver. She is survived by sons, Howard (JoAnn) and Roy (Iris); daughters Eileen Umehira and Suzie (Neal) Uyeda; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held on Thur, Aug 27, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Wailuku Hongwanji Mission. Family requests casual attire.
