Yeiko “Tony” Arakaki passed away peacefully at Hale Makua, Wailuku under hospice care on August 31, 2023. He was born and raised in the Piihana Camp in Wailuku, HI. Yeiko was predeceased by siblings Eiichi, Fumiko Yip, Eiji, and Eiho. He is survived by his wife, Irene; sons, Vaughn (Melanie) and Dale; 5 grandchildren, Bryson, Caitlin, Connor, Kayla and Peyton; and siblings, Yukie Shiroma (Toshio), Yeiso (Violet), Chiyono “Nancy” Matsunaga (Bob), and Frances Yagi; as well as many nieces and nephews. Paul Toshio Matsunaga, of Haiku, Maui, passed at home on August 23, 2023. Born in 1947 to Masao and Sueko (nee Matoi) Matsunaga of Haiku; joining siblings Joan (Ken) Kitagawa, Beatrice Hara, and Robert “Bobby” Matsunaga. Paul is predeceased by wife Lorraine (nee Kurata), and survived by children Erin (Conor Replogle) and Steven Matsunaga (Eva Cadavona). Margaret Shigeko Asami Nagasako, of Lahaina, Maui, passed away on September 3, 2023, at Straub Clinic in Honolulu. She was born on Oct. 19, 1925, in Lahaina, to Shinichi and Mizumi Asami.
