She was born on May 29th, 1951 to Ildefonso Nicolas Villanueva and Avelina Sudio Baltazar in Dingras, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. Joseph “Blondy” Iao Kaina, 79 of Hana, passed away on July 26, 2023 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on November 5, 1943 in Hana. Prior to retirement, Joseph worked as a custodian at Hana School Public Library. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Kaina; sister, Henrietta Laie Revilla; nieces, nephews and other extended Ohana. Wilkens Penimana “Jacky-Jack” Kaauamo, 83, of Makawao, Maui passed away on July 24, 2023 while sleeping at his residence. He was born on June 2, 1940 in Hana to Samuel Kamuela Kaauamo & Mary Smith Kaauamo. He grew up in Wailuanui working in the taro patches and was a Lahaina Lunagraduate.
