Charles Nicholas “Nicky” DuBois, was born on May 25, 1940 and passed away on March 12, 2023 at his sister’s home under Hospice care. Charles was raised on Maui, attended Kaunoa School , and graduated from Maui High. He worked overseas for a couple of years before returning to Maui. He loved the out-doors, was an avid hiker, enjoyed deep sea diving, hunting, and gardening in his back yard. Beatrice Teruko Fujita, of Kahului, Maui passed away peacefully at her home on April 1st, 2023 under the care of Hospice Maui. She was born on March 27th, 1929 in Puunene, Maui. Patrick Tom passed unexpectedly at his residence with his wife by his bedside. Aside from his family, Patrick loved racing, either participating or spectating. He was also recognized as a skillful machinist, where he was taught the trade by his older brother Teddy, who started a family business in the mid 70’s, and where Patrick took over in the late 80’s, until his passing. Ambrose Sunny Kapono, of Las Vegas, Nevada and formally from Keanae, Maui, passed away on December 2, 2022. He was born on September 3, 1934. Ambrose served in the United States Marine Corps from 1952 to1973, earning the rank of Master Sargent. Upon retirement from the Marine Corps, he went to work for Edison Nuclear Power, working with the security force of the California power plant. Ronald James Ferreira, of Wailuku, Maui passed away on April 3, 2023 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on December 16, 1966 to Paul and Shirley Ferreira.
