Sept. 23, 1943 – Dec. 10, 2022. Eldest son of Mieko (Elsie) and Raymond Hiroyuki Yanagihara, born in Hilo, Hawaii. Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend peacefully passed in Kahakuloa, Maui. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, March 25th at 11 a.m. at Rainbow Bay Marina, Pavilions B and C, 57 Arizona Memorial Drive in Honolulu. He is survived by his daughters, Shannon Teves (Steve) and Nicole Yanagihara; siblings Arlene Yoshizumi (Roy), Amy Tahara, Marsha Tanaka, and Cy Yanagihara; and three grandchildren.

Mr. Hisashi Horiuchi, of Hilo, Hawaii, died January 30, 2023 in the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home in Hilo. He was born in Paia, Maui, Hawaii on September 21, 1931 and retired as a salesman from the Hilo Rice Mill company in Hilo.
