Jennifer was one of God’s fiercest warriors, dedicating much of her time to her Christian faith and to the brothers, sisters, and children who worshiped along-side her at the Faith Family Maui Church (formerly known as Rose of Sharon) in Kahului. Doris Marie Kenui of Upcounty Maui was called home to the Lord on December 3, 2022. Doris was born to Edward and Marie (Freitas) Tavares of Upcountry Maui on December 3, 1959. She grew up in Makawao where she lived for most of her life. She graduated from St. Anthony High School in 1977. She worked for many years at Dairy Queen in Pukalani and later in Kahului. Kiyoka “Kay” Murayama, peacefully passed away on November 5, 2022, at her home. She is predeceased by her husband - Tabo Murayama, sister – Harumi Yoshikawa, and her brother – Christy Mamiya. She was a beautician and business owner of a hair salon. She was an avid golfer and loved to have a “toot” with friends. She has left behind her brother – Alvin Mamiya and her sister Agnes Mamiya.
