Eulogy at 9:00 a.m. and mass 9:30 a.m. Due to St. Joseph’s Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no visitation and masks are required. Inurnment to follow at Veterans Cemetery in Makawao at 11:00 a.m. where you may come and pay respect for the family.

Vivian Mary Kamai, 80, of Hana, passed away on February 11, 2022 in Kahului. She was born on July 27, 1941 in Makawao, Maui. Vivian retired as an Edu-cational Assistant at Hana School. She is survived by her husband, Jacob Kamai; daughter, Bernadine Fernandez; son, Wesley K. Kamai (Kapeka Oliveira), grandchildren, Trina Fernandez, Jason Fernandez, Liko I. Glenn T. "Smiley" Miyahira, 69, passed away at his home in Wailuku on January 25, 2022. He was born and raised in Makawao and graduated from Lahainaluna High School in 1970. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and dedicated 30 years of service to the Maui Police Department, retiring as a Captain. He spent the remainder of his retirement years working at Kahului Airport with United Airlines and Securitas.
