Apolonio Tabangcura, 94 of Kahului, Maui, passed away peacefully, on June 20 2020, at home with his family under Hospice care. He was born on April 28, 1926, in Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. Visitation will be held from 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at Christ the King Church in Kahului; mass will begin at 11:00 a.m.; burial will follow, 12:30 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery, main cemetery section. Mary L. Caires, 93, passed away on June 16, 2020 at Roselani Place in Kahului. She was born on June 4, 1927 in Haiku, Maui. Mary wed Daniel C. Caires on May 28th, 1949, they have 4 children. Mary worked as a registered nurse at Windward Medical Center in Kailua and then for a private family practitioner before retiring to care for her mother.
