Domingo C. Amano, 87, of Pukalani, Maui, passed away on May 19, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loving family, under the care of Hospice Maui. He was born on January 1, 1933 on Maui. Private services will be held. Domingo was a retired Staff Sergeant with the United States Army. He later retired as Supervisor at Maui Land & Pineapple Company. Francis Bedoya, 92 of Lahaina, Maui passed away on May 26, 2020 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born to Macario and Maximina Bedoya on June 4, 1927 in Lahaina. He attended King Kamehameha 3rd school and completed Lahainaluna High in 1946, including pre-advocational in Carpentry, Machine shop and Auto shop. He worked as a gasoline and diesel mechanic for Pioneer Sugar Company for many years. Served in the U.S. Army in Schofield Barracks Oahu. Alan James Cabos, 42 of Kula, passed away on May 10, 2020 in Hana. He was born on October 26, 1977 in San Leandro, California. Alan was employed by Premier Restoration Hawaii. His favorite hobbies were fishing and hunting. He is survived by his mother, Sharon Cabos and predeceased by his father, Ted Cabos Jr. Alan is also survived by his daughters, Kylee and Aubree Cabos; sister, Angelia (Walter) Andrade; 2 nieces, Kaelynn and Kamaile Andrade; and a nephew, Ka’eo Andrade. Faye E. Field, 85

Faye E. Field, longtime Maui resident, died on May 29, 2020 due to cancer. She was born in Honolulu in 1934, was educated in public schools there, later graduating from Punahou as a member of the Class of 1952. Faye attended Stanford University and then art school in Los Angeles, California. She married Chris Field in 1955, traveled widely and lived in Missoula, Montana for many years. She returned to the Islands in 1995, making her home on Maui. In 2002 she married Charles Treuhold. Both husbands have died. Joseph Hampel III, 67

June 4, 1952-April 28, 2020. Joseph "BUDDY" Hampel passed away peacefully at Hospice Maui Hale; he was 67. Joe, or "Uncle Buggs," as we called him, was born in Waipahu, O'ahu, and lived in Diamond Head before moving to Maui when his father was hired as the Manager of Kahului Shopping Center. Joe attended Makawao School and graduated from Maui High School, class of 1971. Buddy was always proud, as were most of his classmates, to have been the last graduating class at the Hamakuapoko campus.
