Kenneth Yuji Oishi, 81, passed away at his Paia home on April 16, 2020. Kenneth was born in Wailuku and raised in Paia, Maui. He attended Paia School, Holy Rosary School, and Maui High School. He served in the Army and after his military service, returned home and worked as a car salesperson. Kenneth is pre-deceased by son David Oishi, parents Shizue and Kazuo Oishi, and sister Kay Watanabe. Lawrence "Larry" Ryan passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, April 18, 2020, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was a loving husband to Kathy and a friend to many. Larry was born September 11, 1947, in Los Angeles, CA. He was a general contractor before retiring to Maui. Larry was a surfer, skier, played senior softball, and enjoyed traveling, camping, and hiking in the National Parks. John Schneider, also known as "U. J." , passed away on April 2, 2020 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. John was born in Ogdensburg, New York on December 25,1947. His lifelong dream was to live in Hawaii and it became a reality when as a Marine, he was stationed at Camp Smith. Upon discharge, John worked at a local refuse company as a driver for 10 years. She was a retired certified nursing aide at Kula Hospital. She was pre-deceased by her husband Gregorio Bivit Bucauto.
