Elsie Yukiko Arakawa, 91 of Kahului, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday April 24th, 2019. She was born on December 26th, 1927 in Wailuku. She is predeceased by her parents Ryoyo and Ushi Kuwae and her husband Masaichi “Quart” Arakawa. Akira Matsuura, 92, of Kahului, passed away peacefully, on April 7, 2019 at Hospice Maui Hale in Wailuku. Private services were held by the family on April 22, 2019. Patrick (Pat) Ulep was born Patrocinio Ulep, in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, on October 26, 1936 and passed away on April 13, 2019. He was the oldest of 3 boys, Tomas, Maximo and Andres who passed away as a child. In 1946, he came to the Territory of Hawai’i, with his Father, Marcelo Ulep, Mother, Justina Agunoy Ulep, and two of his brothers, Tomas and Maximo.
