Katsumi Tadakuma, 98 of Waipahu, passed away on March 9, 2019 at his residence. He was born on July 15, 1920 in Haiku, Maui. Katsumi was a mill supervisor for Wailuku Sugar Company. He is survived by his daughters, Gail (Robert) Jakahi, Phyllis (Russell – deceased) Suzuki; brothers, Tomio and Stanley Tadakuma; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Pauline Ishikawa, 81, of Kahului passed away peacefully on February 26, 2019 at Hale Makua. She was born on September 5, 1937 in Puunene. Henry Dale Kailianu Alau, 76, of Kula, passed away on March 6, 2019 at his residence. Visitation 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Holy Ghost Church in Kula; mass 11 a.m. Urn burial will be held at the Maui Veterans Cemetery at a later date. Henry, Hank to his friends, was born on September 20, 1942 in Wailuku. He joined the United States Air Force in 1965, and served meritoriously for 20 years.
