Elaine Mitsume Sugimoto, 81 of Kahului passed away on October 15, 2018. Elaine was born on December 3, 1936 to Mr. and Mrs. Tomoso Saito in Lanai City, Lanai. She worked for Maui Land and Pineapple. Elaine loved cooking and was always well known for her great pastries. She is survived by her husband Hideo Sugimoto. Services will be held at Nakamura Mortuary on Monday, November 5, 2018.
