Marion Tsuruyo Kohatsu, 98, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 17th, 2018 at her residence in Kahului, Hawaii. Marion was born in Kaheka Camp, Maui on May 25, 1920. She lived a humble life that was devoted to her faith and relationship with God and service to others. She faithfully attended and served at Kahului Union Church for over 50 years. Edward Herman Nishihara, 98, of Wailuku passed away on August 29th, 2018 in Kahului under the care of Islands Hospice. He was born on April 7th, 1920 in Paia. Edward was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of the infamous 100th Battalion. He also was a retired Captain at the Wailuku Fire Station.
