William “Willy” Tatsuo Watanabe, 71, of Wailuku, passed away unexpectedly on May 21. Willy was born on October 24, 1946 and worked for over 30 years as a customer service agent with Aloha Airlines. He is survived by his wife Betty (Nee Endo), son Kurt (Kacie), stepson Keith (Lynn) Wong, grandchildren Kip, Kai, and Keely Watanabe and Geoff (Achlene) and Derek (Sarah) Wong, and sister, Janice Watanabe. William James Merchant passed away on May 25, 2018 in the island of Maui. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Lucia and precious 11 year old daughter, Natalie.
