Thelma Canha Ferreira, 93, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 26, 1923 in Pu’unene to John and Ida Canha and was married to the late Arthur Ferreira for 58 years. She is survived by her three children, Arthur (Patricia) Jr., Jackie Davis, and Doreen (Wilfred) Jones; nine grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. Domingo Alboro, Sr., 83, died at Hale Makua-Wailuku on September 1, 2017. Domingo was born May 19, 1934 in Lahaina, Maui. He attended Lahainaluna High School as a boarder. He met his wife, Florence Lintao, at Lahainaluna, and they got married before finishing school. Domingo worked at Pioneer Mill for forty plus years. He was very active with ILWU. Besides working at Pioneer Mill, he also worked part-time as a busboy and later as a waiter at Sheraton, Royal Lahaina and finally Kaanapali Beach Hotel.
